Leeds Force are delighted to announce the signing of 6’4″ British-American guard Adrian Kuyinu on a permanent deal.
Kuyinu, 26, initially signed for The Force on a temporary basis in December, after departing German 1. Regionalliga outfit Saarlouis-Dillingen Sunkings.
An impressive opening month in Leeds colours has seen Kuyinu average 13 PPG and 4 APG, most notably notching 22 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds to cap a scintillating performance against Surrey Scorchers on January 5.
Kuyinu’s efforts have earned him a permanent deal with the team, and everyone at Leeds Force is looking forward to Adrian hitting the court as Leeds look to make a push up the BBL table.
Leeds Force can also confirm that Justas Rimkus and Tre Bennett have been released from their contracts by mutual consent.
Bennett, 25, signed for The Force in October – averaging 14 PPG in 11 appearances for the West Yorkshire side over a three-month stint with the club.
Rimkus, 22, completed a November switch to Force, with the Lithuanian making nine appearances in Leeds colours before departing the team.
Everyone at Leeds Force would like to place on record their thanks to both Justas and Tre for all their contributions to the team, and we wish them all the best for their future careers.
