Dixon hit a season high-tide mark as Lions roar on the road

Leeds Force 62-94 London Lions (17-29, 37-55, 48-76)

London Lions completed a successful weekend as they followed up their victory in the BBL Trophy with a dominant win on the road at Leeds Force.

The visitors were without Justin Robinson for the road trip, but move to 10-6 with the league win.

Turning point – London were quick out of the blocks with 29 points in the opening period and they never looked back as they inflicted another loss on the Force, despite 22 points from Jamelle Davis on debut.

Key stat – The Lions were dominant inside, shooting 72% from 2-point range and they dominated the battle on the boards, 50-26.

Game hero(es) – Cory Dixon produced the first triple-double of the 2017-18 season with 21 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists, while Brandon Peel had 23 points and 11 boards.
