Leeds Force are excited to welcome Obi Kyei to the Force roster.
The 6’9”, Aussie forward joins the Force from Germany, where he started this year’s season at Cuxhaven Baskets. Kyei played 10 games for Cuxhaven, where he averaged 11.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. Kyei previously played at University in the U.S where he ended his senior season averaging 11.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game at Eckerd College.
Kyei joins the Force ten games into the season and Coach Danny Nelson says “We are pleased to work together with Obi, he adds intelligence and versatility to our roster. Obi has settled in nicely and fits well with the rest of the guys.”
Kyei first put on the Force jersey this past Sunday against Cheshire, and will play at home tomorrow evening at 7.30 in Carnegie Sports Centre for a grudge match against Cheshire. Book tickets online now.
