Force Make Changes At The Top

Leeds Force are excited to announce a new chapter in the management of the club.  Club Director, Scott Carter, will be taking on the Managing Director’s role with immediate effect, with Adoniah Lewis recruited as the club’s new General Manager.

Scott Carter replaces Mark Mills, the club’s former CEO, who has departed the club with immediate effect.  Mark Mills will be moving onto new projects, he said “It has been great to be a part of Leeds Force management for the last three years.  After a thorough handover period Scott has now taken full control of the club and he will work tirelessly to continue to grow the club.

I will still volunteer to do the commentary for all Force home games for this season, so I will still be in the bleachers with the fans.  I want to thank everyone who I have worked with over the three years including players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, suppliers and most importantly the awesome Force fans.  It has been an amazing experience but it is the right time for me to move onto exciting new projects.”

Scott Carter is looking forward to taking the club on and is setting his sights high.  He said “I have stepped up to the plate and taken the role as Managing Director.  I have a new direction in mind for the club and some new fresh ideas on how we can push the club forward and grow the club to really compete against the bigger clubs in the BBL.  I don’t want to give too much away but we have some serious plans ahead of us for the future of Leeds Force but my main concern is this season and making the Playoffs.  We have a stronger team this year with some experienced players so I am really looking forward to starting the season. The Leeds Force family is like no other, the fans are amazing and I will be working as hard as possible to make sure we fulfil our job to our fans and family.”

The club are in preseason preparations ahead of the opening night game at the Carnegie Sports Arena against Esh Group Eagles Newcastle on Friday 29th September.  Tickets for that game are available through the club website
