Leeds Force are delighted to announce the signing of star point guard Eric Childress for the 2017/18 BBL season.
Childress joins Leeds Force after a stellar career at UC Santa Barbara in NCAA Div 1, where he averaged 9.2 points, 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per game in his senior year. Leeds Force CEO, Mark Mills is pleased to have Childress on board saying “Eric is an unbelievable talent who can take us to the next level this season. He has court vision that very few guards have and at such a young age his potential is immense. I think that he will light up the BBL this season and will be the spark our offense will fire from”
Childress, who also received an All-Big Conference Honourable Mention in his senior year, is delighted to have signed for Leeds saying “I am very excited to join Leeds and I am eager to be a part of the team. I intend to give it everything I have on both ends of the floor. I am a pass first point guard who can get into the paint find guys for easy shots or create for myself. On the other end impacting the game every way I can whether it’s steals, rebounds, or diving in the floor for loose balls.
He continued “I would like to thank God, my agent Dom and all StartingFive Agency, and Leeds for giving me this opportunity to represent such a good team, Go Force!”
Childress will shortly join up with his new teammates as Force prepare for the new season.
