Leeds Force have today announced the return of Isaac Mourier for his third season with Yorkshire BBL club.
The Leeds Beckett University student will be combining his studies with playing for Leeds Force in the BBL. Mourier is a versatile player who is as comfortable playing on the perimeter as he is mixing it up in the post.
Mark Mills, Leeds Force CEO, is pleased to have Mourier back at Leeds saying “Isaac has developed over the past few seasons and is becoming a thorn in the side of the opposition. He has come into games and done whatever was needed by his team. I can’t count the number of times he matched up with some of the league’s best bigs last season and he wasn’t intimidated and he certainly didn’t back down. I am looking forward to Isaac’s continued development here at Leeds Force.”
Mourier is looking forward to getting back on the hardwood at the Carnegie Sports Arena saying “Leeds is a fantastic city, and is a home away from home for me. During my time here, our fans and volunteers have made me feel extremely welcome, and I look forward to representing them in a Force jersey for another year. I am confident that there are big things to come in 2017/18.”
Mourier becomes Force’s third signing of the off season and will be looking forward to starting pre-season training with his new teammates. The BBL season tips off with the visit of Esh Group Eagles Newcastle to Leeds on Friday 29th September. Tickets for that game will go on sale shortly through the club website.
