Leeds Force have signed guard Jordan Cook for the 2017/18 BBL season.
Cook joins Leeds after a spell with CB Salt within the Spanish EBA division. Leeds Force Head Coach, Mika Turunen, is pleased to have signed Cook. He said “Jordan has a surprisingly high basketball IQ for such a young age and understands the game well. He is always the first guy at practice and works hard. As a combo guard he will provide us with some versatility in the back court. He will also cause other teams issues with his perimeter shooting”
The 6’4” British combo guard will be making his debut within the BBL and is excited by the opportunity. He said “It is great being back in England. I’ve been away playing pro in Spain now for 3 years and being back home feels great. I have joined Force because I love what they are doing here, I can’t wait to get started. Force fans can expect me to work hard and fight for the club, I promise I will leave everything on the court for the team”
Cook is working hard across the summer in preparation for his first BBL season which will tip off on Friday 29th September when Force welcome Esh Group Eagles Newcastle to the Carnegie Sports Arena. Tickets for that game will go on sale shortly through the club’s online ticket portal.
